High-performance nickel-iron-chromium alloys Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT are frequently utilized in corrosive and high-temperature settings. These alloys are very useful in the production of electricity, petrochemical processes, and chemicals. Excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures is a well-known attribute of Incoloy 800. It is usually employed in situations where the substance must endure temperatures as high as 650°C, or 1,200°F. An improved version of Incoloy 800 is called Incoloy 800H. It is appropriate for more demanding applications because of its increased creep and rupture strength at higher temperatures. Its strength and stability are increased by the inclusion of titanium and carbon in small amounts. Heat exchangers, other vital components in the petrochemical industry, and high-temperature furnace components are frequently made of Incoloy 800H, which can function efficiently at temperatures as high as 1,600°F (870°C).

As Incoloy 800HT can withstand temperatures of up to 1,800°F (980°C), it can be used in highly severe environments, such as gas turbines and nuclear reactors.
