Enhanced variant of S31803 with slightly greater nickel content (about 6% nickel) and molybdenum content (approximately 3% molybdenum) is S32205, also referred to as UNS S32205. Due to this change, pitting and crevice corrosion resistance is improved. S32205 is frequently utilized for a variety of applications requiring exceptional corrosion resistance, including the petrochemical industry, maritime situations, and more demanding settings.
