A nickel-copper alloy called Monel K500 has increased strength and hardness while retaining the qualities of Monel 400. Monel K500's distinct characteristics are attributed to its composition, which consists primarily of nickel (63%), copper (29%), and trace amounts of aluminum and titanium. Age hardening, a heat-treatment procedure that increases the material's strength and hardness, is what gives it its improved mechanical qualities.
